Paul began practicing law here in downtown Monroe in the Summer of 2002, one year after graduating law school. He fell in love with the town and his smalltown practice and never left. Eventually, he fell in love with his bride, Jessica, a local, to whom he has been happily married since 2007. Paul’s legal practice through his 20 plus year career has covered a wide range of areas of law as a general practitioner. Now, entering the last half of his legal career, Paul has narrowed his focus to simplify his work-life balance by representing only local municipalities, handling both simple and complex real estate transactions, assisting folks navigate the tragedies of catastrophic injuries and death of loved ones, as well as representing a very small handful of successful family business enterprises and home offices of high net worth families. Paul’s twenty plus year legal career along with his extensive background in real estate and business enterprises, along with his educational foundation of his JD and MBA from the University of Georgia, allow Paul to effectively represent his clients in a broad array of legal and business matters that transcend traditional legal norms and more properly embody the role of a true counselor at law.  Paul’s greatest passion is his family, Jessica, Bella and Emma. When he isn’t focused on those 3 ladies either at home or on the road, you will find him passionately pushing for the continued restoration and revitalization of his adopted hometown of Monroe through hands-on projects and other partnerships with like-minded friends and organizations.  He also likes to watch the Georgia Bulldogs win between the hedges and the Dallas Cowboys lose (and sometimes win) wherever they might be playing.
